“Less is more” and “Everything takes it’s time”

These are my responses to the increasing complexity of projects and the expectation of clients to achieve tangible results in a very  short time. 

However, since we are often dealing with processes aiming at changing of attitudes we should formulate our objectives carefully and with a sense of appropriateness.

My competences

25 years of experience in development cooperation, 40 years of experience with all facets of vocational training - these are my core competencies: 
 
Conceptual and operational expertise – as a project manager and team leader; my professional, analytical and strategic skills help me to focus on the right priorities.

Distinctive intercultural competence – due to several years of work experience in various developing and emerging countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Technical expertise – I have a quick grasp of technical issues of all kinds.

Identification of synergy potentials – I successfully establish cross-connections in order to reach goals faster.

Communication skills and networking – I like to be in contact with people and make sure that they work together in a goal-oriented way. Age, origin, gender or their cultural background play no role. 

Communicating complex issues – As a trainer, I conduct training sessions on training and teaching methods, on basic technical issues and on soft-skills. 

As a moderator and team – leader I am experienced in preparing, organizing and implementing workshops of any kind at working level.


I am acting as a worldwide contact person for consulting companies in the context of preparing and implementing projects in the TVET (1) and in the agricultural sector. I am available to nationally and internationally operating companies and institutions of all industries. Should special expertise and experience be required that goes beyond my own, e.g. in technical questions, in questions of financial management, in analyses of environmental compatibility or in complex agricultural questions, I will refer to my network of competent colleagues and partners and involve them.
